Amarillo Habanero Hot Mustard Sauce

Mustard is generally a fairly sensible condiment. Habanero has never shown much interest in being sensible. Melinda’s Amarillo brings the two together rather effectively. You get the sharp bite you’d expect from mustard, followed by a fruity habanero kick that hangs around just long enough to make its point. Onion and vinegar keep everything bright, while turmeric gives the sauce its striking yellow appearance. I particularly like this with sausages and burgers, where the mustard side makes perfect sense. It also has considerable potential in sandwiches, soup and even on cheese on toast.
