Mango & Chamoy
No ratings yet
Mango and habanero are a perfectly respectable pairing. Then someone brought tamarind, lime, hibiscus and chilli-lime seasoning to the party and things got considerably more interesting. Bravado Spice Co. Mango & Chamoy brings a big hit of ripe mango sweetness, followed by sharp lime, tangy tamarind and that unmistakable salty-sour character of chamoy. Habanero supplies the warmth, while ancho chilli and hibiscus add a little more depth to the proceedings. The result is fruity, tangy, salty and properly moreish, with enough heat to keep things interesting without turning lunch into an endurance event. Try it with tacos, grilled chicken, seafood, fresh fruit or anything that benefits from a sweet, sour and savoury kick. It also makes a rather good companion for snacks when ordinary dipping sauce has failed to meet your increasingly unreasonable standards.
Arbol Chilli & Garlic

This bottle of Bravado Spice Co. Árbol Chilli & Garlic Hot Sauce has a Best Before Date of June 2026, which is why it’s enjoying a well-earned stint in our clearance section. Don’t be fooled by the date – Best Before is about peak flavour, not food safety. This garlicky little firecracker is still perfectly safe to enjoy, with plenty of bold chilli heat and savoury goodness left to liven up your meals. Better for your wallet, just as dangerous for your taste buds. Some hot sauces shout. This one simply gets on with the job. Bravado Spice Co. has taken the timeless pairing of chilli and garlic and given it the respect it deserves. Toasted Chiles de Árbol bring a deep, earthy warmth, while plenty of garlic, bright lime and aromatic cumin create a sauce that’s rich, savoury and dangerously easy to pour on absolutely everything. Keep a bottle on the table and you’ll soon find excuses to use it. Splash it over tacos, burritos and quesadillas, wake up scrambled eggs, drizzle it over grilled chicken or steak, liven up roasted vegetables, stir it into chilli con carne, or give homemade burgers and chips the upgrade they’ve been crying out for. It even works wonders mixed into sour cream or mayonnaise for an instant smoky dipping sauce. No gimmicks. No extracts. No unnecessary nonsense. Just proper flavour with a satisfying medium heat that never steals the show.
Ghost Pepper & Blueberry

The flavour is different from most hot sauces you will find, and it is extremely tasty. The blueberry make up a lovely base flavour for this sauce before the chillies come through with a good, medium-level kick. Great colour and thin consistency.

AKA Miso Ghost – Reaper
No ratings yet
Ghost Pepper and Carolina Reaper are not generally known for their subtle social skills. Fortunately, there’s miso involved. Aka Miso Ghost – Reaper combines serious chilli heat with a deep, savoury umami character. The miso gives the sauce plenty of body, while tamari, sesame and Japanese seven spice bring salty, nutty and aromatic notes that keep the chillies from simply bulldozing everything in their path. This is very much an addition for food rather than a novelty bottle. I particularly like the idea of it with ramen, noodles, rice dishes, grilled meat or anything involving mushrooms. A little stirred through a broth or marinade could also produce rather interesting results. The Ghost and Reaper combination means you should treat the bottle with some respect. But underneath all that heat is a genuinely savoury sauce with enough going on to reward anyone willing to get past the chilli. Featured on Hot Ones Season 10. Clearly, somebody else has already made some questionable decisions.
